Christmas Sparkles

With Christmas getting nearer there are lots of opportunities to try out the techniques I have been learning about in the ‘artificial light’ section of TAOP. We put our Christmas tree up yesterday and I wanted to create a glowing/twinkling effect on the lights. I set the ISO to 100, kept the aperture to a pin-hole sized f/stop of 32, and opened the shutter for 30 seconds. I was very pleased with this image because it was exactly what I had wanted to achieve.
