I’ve been a member of the Royal Photographic Society for about 8 months now. It’s enabling me to see the kind of standard I would like to aspire to one day. There are a number of ‘distinctions’ that are offered by the RPS. I have been tempted to try and submit some of my work for a Licentiateship, but didn’t think I had a selection of images that would show a good range of techniques and understanding of composition. However, having completed TAOP, I have developed a portfolio of 10 images which I hope will meet the assessment criteria. I’ve applied for the 9th June 2011 assessment date, so fingers crossed and watch this space!
