Photography meets Videography

I was at the beach taking photos for my DPP monochrome assignment. I chose the beach because of the examples of shape, form and texture. I had taken a lot of photos and when I scrolled through them I noticed how the movement of the waves and gulls was recreated. I decided to take more photos with the intention of creating a video of Redcar beach.
A lot of DSLR cameras now have a video function, with many now able to film in HD. I have had lots of experience filming weddings and various other events, but I had never really thought beyond that. Now that I have a camera able to shoot video, I’ll be thinking about how I can combine both photography and video.
