Project 27: real and implied circles

Task: Find examples of real and implied circles.

Putting some CD’s face down on a table to act as a mirror enabled me to use a circular theme to match the pattern on the shirt.

The Selfridges building in Birmingham’s Bull Ring has a fantastic pattern of circles over its roof.

A shutter speed of 1/50 enabled me to freeze this fairground ride. The equal spacing between each carriage helps it to maintain a circular shape.

Implied circle in a rose

The petals of this rose are arranged to imply a circle.

Reflection

Looking for implied circles was extremely difficult. They’re not as obvious to find as triangles. This is something I will continue to look out for.
